Patterson, dau­ ghter, Irene and son, Nolan, were re­ cent guests at the home of Mr. and .Mrs, F. C. Taylor. Nolan, who is 13 years of age, caught a black bass weighing 3V2 pounds at the Gorrie '.’bridge, Rev. R. S. and Mrs. Jones, London, called on old friends in the village re­ cently. Marj.orie and Grace Gilmour, of "Wingham, are spending a few days -with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mundell. Mrs, Dowdell and two children, of Toronto, have returned home after spending a week with her parents, Mr. .-and Mrs. John Hyndman. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cockburn, of •Guelph, spent Friday last with the lat­ ter’s sister, Mrs. Victor Shera and Mr. ..Shera. Mrs. Percp Ashton spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Ashton- at Dundalk. Mr. Percy Ash- •ton spent Saturday at the same home. Miss OliVe Lawrence who had spent .Tier vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lawrence, returned to Tor- •onto on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston and daugh­ ter, Miss Pearl, spent Sunday at the ’.home of Mrs. Johnston’s sister, Mrs. W. J. Earngey. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Huggan, Mr. .•and Mrs. Wm. Wright, Brussels, Mr. •and Mrs. S. Marshall and children, of London, were recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Phair and dau­ ghters, Thelma, Blanche and Norma, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. James Musgrove. Rev. J. L. and Mrs. Bell and little -daughter, Katharine Marie, have re- • turned from a two weeks’ vacation .and Rev. Ball conducted Sunday ser­ vices in St. Stephen’s Anglican Ghurch. Mrs. Ed. Bolton and daughter, Maxine, spent Friday last with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albrecht, near Harriston. Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Marshall and little son spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Curie at Bel­ more. Miss Irene Curie, who had spent some time with her sister, Mrs. Marshall; returned home with.them. Mr? and Mrs. H. V. Holmes and- Miss Perk'ins are holidaying at their cottage at Bruce Beach. Mr. and Mrs.. W. J. Earngep and son, Dean, of Brussels, visited on Sun­ day with Miss Kate Earngey who ac­ companied them to Harriston for part of the day. Mr. Charles Hooey, Mrs. Ellis, iMr. and Mrs. Victor Shera, visited the for­ mer’s sister, Mrs. Meyers, at Byron on Stsnday. Mr. and Mrs. John King, of Tor­ onto, spent the week-end with relativ­ es here. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. King, who had visited in Toronto, for two weeks, returned home with them.
