Morrison had the misfor­ tune to slip off a load of hay Friday afternoon and landed on his back on the ground, when the horses stepped ahead unexpectedly. He has suffered considerably since, and as yet hasn’t ascertained the extent of his injury. Miss Margaret Jackson, of Toron­ to, and Mrs. Lovatt, of St. Catharines, visited one day last week with their aunts, Miss C. Laidlaw and Mrs, Mar­ tin and with other relatives in this community. Mr. George Watt, of Toronto, is visiting with his sister, Miss Muriel Watt, at the home of Mr. Wm. Bar­ bour. Miss Mary Sharpe, of Teeswater, who has been a patient in Victoria Hospital, London, for the past few weeks’, was able to return to her home last Friday and Miss Sarah Thorpe, who had been visiting with Miss Cath­ arine Ross, also returned to Teeswat­ er on Thursday. Miss Ruth Moore, who has been working in Lucknow is now at her home here. Miss Doris McClenaghan left Mon­ day to attend Summer School at God­ erich United Church camp grounds.’ Mr. Robert Mowbray and Mr. Ken­ neth Laidlaw left on Monday to work for the week at Woodstock. Mr. Clarence McClenaghan spent the weekend a-t Port Elgin at Sum­ mer School work. The W.M.S. of the United Church held a tea at the home of Miss C. Laidlaw on Wednesday when about twenty-five ladies were present and help to quilt a quilt.
