The ladies of the Presbyterian Church have been invited to attend also. Mr. and Mrs. Jas. St. Marie, Cecilia and Jack, motored to Guelph on Tues­ day to attend the graduating exercises of the class of seven nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospita. Miss Veronica St. Marie is a member of the graduating class. Congratulations. The regular weekly meeting of the Y.P.U. of the United Church was in charge of Agnes Gillespie. Mrs. Ezra Scholzt read an Easter poem. Millan Moore read the Scripture lesson and the meditation period was taken by Genevieve Watt and Clarence Mc- Clenaghan. Miss C. Laidlaw led in prayer. The topic on The Risen Christ, was taken by Mrs. Harold Sparling' and Miss Lettie Fox, and Misses A. M. The attendance was not as large as usual owing to the flu epidemic. Martin Grasby, vice president, conducted the meeting which was opened with com­ munity singing. The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted. It was decided to give special prizes at the Belgrave School Fair the prizes to be given as follows: Grades 1 and 2, 5 onions grown from Dutch sets; Grades 3. and 4, Bouquet for living room; Grades 5, 6, 7; 8, Essay, Birds and Their Protection, Harold Procter conducted an inter­ esting Professor Quiz contest. Art Wilson, Manager of the Wingham branch of the United Farmers' Co- Operative was present and addressed the meeting. He also introduced Mr. Hare who spok'e on his work of try­ ing to interest people in producing better eggs and thus increasing the price. A committee was named to make further arrangements for the short course to be held next January. The evening was spent in cards and dancing, Lunch was serv­ ed and following this James McCrea expressed the wishes of all to the bride-elect for her future ^happiness and hoped as she used the many use­ ful and pretty gifts she would remem­ ber her friends here.
