Fifty horses will be off and running for the $1,800 purse which will be awaiting winners of the different classes at Exeter* Race meet next Wednesday af­ ternoon. The purse which was originally $1,500, nas been made larger by $300 because of the many entries. The 2.30 class has been divided into two divisions with each division getting a sum of $300 as their purse. There are 16 different horses entered in the 2.30 class, while three more are on a waiting list. Some of the notable horses in this class are Doris Chips, owned by Dave Shamblaw, from Wood­ ham; Miss Belair, owned by J, II.
