ing was presided over by Mrs.
T. C Coates who led in the de
votional assisted by Mrs. M. Tra-
quair, Mrs. iS. Mitchell, Mrs. J.
Pepper and Mrs. W. Forrest.
The study, ably taken by Mrs.
Albert Alexander centered a-
round “The Pioneer Missionaries
in Manitoba and Western Ont
ario,” in which she spoke -of the
great work among the Indians,
what had been done to help them,
education problems, health and
housing conditions. Mrs. T. Sher-
ri-tt favoured with a piano solo.

strong, chaired the meeting for
the business period, plans for
the annual birthday party to be
held in the auditorium of the
church Friday evening, March
16 were discussed. The guest
speaker will be Miss Grace Pat
terson. of Thamesf-ord, returned
missionary from India. Special
guests for this occasion will be
societies from Chiselhurst, Main
Street United Church, Exeter;
Brucefiejd; 'St. Paul’s Anglican
and Carmel (Church Hensall.

was in charge of Mrs. John
Soldan, and Mrs. Charles Robin
son. Mr. Henry Adkins moved
a vote of thanks to the Forum
on behalf of the section. Mr.
John Roldan welcomed the guests.
The ladies of this Forum are
at present preparing a play to
be put on in Exeter at the Spring
Rally.
