Tired.? Never enough hours in
the day to do all yon would like
to do? Then read Marie Ray's
book "Heap Never to be Tired."
First ipulblished in 1938 it las
proved so helpful and the demand
has been so great and the latest
advances in psychology have en-
abled the author to provide a
new up-to-date book on the prob.
loin of latigue and its remedy.
Mrs. Ray has revised and re-
written the entire text ineorpor-
ating riew scientific findings end
adding fresh real-life etories to
illustrate how wen and women
who were failures learned how to
tap their ladden sources of en-
ergy, became successful a nd
achieved their goals, The per-
formance of great men and weirmen
In analyzed and the secret of
their success revealed. The eecret
is reduced to a formula you can
apply to your own ,aetivities and
so get what you want out of life.
With this lbooa we are aleg'
gesting the biography of Grand*
ma Moses who was a dynamo of
energy and achievement.
Grandma Moses
In' her book, "Grandma Modes",
Anna Mary Robertson Moses,
known, to the world as Grandma
Moses, tells the story of her life
la a mple, appealing way.
She was born on a tanm in
New York state, one of a family
of 10 children. At the age of 12,
she left home to earn her owe
living as a hired girl. In 1887
she married and tor the next 18
years she and her husband farm-
ed in Virginia. They then re-
turned to the Cambridge Valley
of their childhood and bought
the farm at Eagle Bridge, where
she still lives. 'She had ten child-
ren, five of whom lived to adult-
hood.
When she was almost 80 years
old, rheumatism so stiffened her
hands that ehe could no longer
do "fancy work" to her satisfac-
tion. so she Ibeganto paint. In a
few years her ,pletures were be-
ing loved and bought and re-
produced all over the country.
The book is illustrated with
16 pages of Grandma Moses paint-
ings•in full color.
Read these two books at "Your
Library."
