SH Hospital
—Continued from Page 2.
thus saving Ithe possible delay
caused by waiting to locate a
doctor, I hope that in the near
future somebody with lots of
money comes along to get more
help and equipment so ithat our
hospital can take •care of every-
body.
Ever since the South Huron
Hospital was first planned the
People in the district became like
one big family working together
for their hospital. A Hospital
Auxiliary was formed and many
people work all year holding rum-
mage shies, teas and theatre
nights. They also sew and mend
for the hospital and the patients.
Eventhough the hospital needed
money so badly, the staff and
auxiliary thought of others who
were in great need and they rais-
ed money for the Hurricane Flood
victims. This showed what a
wonderful spirit exists with the
hospital workers and gave the
community good publicity.
The buildings and grounds of
the South Huron Hospital are
real beauty spots in the commun-
ity and we are all proud to show
them to 'our friends who visit us
from other places. Members of
the Auxiliary have invited all the
Citizens of_ the district to visit
the .hospital on Sunday, May 8th,
as they are anxious for us to see
for ourselves whalt is (being ac-
complished there, It, will make
us realize how proud and grate-
ful we should be •to have such a
modern hospital.
I read .in the local :newspaper
that our town is looking for new
industry. If only we could show
our Hospital ,and its results in
the community to the many .rich
people who are looking for places
to start industry, they would not
be afraid to take changes here.
The .South Buren 'Hospital is
our hospital to use and to work
for. It is a great enemerial to the
progressive spirit 'of our gom-
munity, serviee clubs, Organiza-
tions and individiials whose work
and money made it possible for
us to hsve the hospital. T know
our hospital will .keep pace With
the. developments of South Huron
and Will always be an asset 10
