Delightful Jodie Foster portrays Addie Pray, an
engaging eleven year old travelling across the
American mid-west, during the Great Depression of the
thirties in "PAPER MOON" seen Thursday nights at
7:30 on CFPL-TV, Channel Ten, London.
"At 3" the new CFPL-TV afternoon program
series has departed radically from the usual talk
show format. The "At 3" series features five hosts -
one for each weekday. Each host has an area of
responsibility and, with his or her director, arranges
guests and features that apply to that category.
MONDAY AT 3 focuses on the work presently
being conducted by local social agencies and their
upcoming project~. Mario Paver•i, staff psychologist
with a London social welfare agency, is host and
,John Buchanan is Director.
TUESDAY AT 3 features London lawyer John
Judson, Mr, Judson's !migrant is ciiricerned with
government, 'laws, regulations and legislation, Ile
will perform somewhat as a local OMBUDSMAN
(CHU Sundays at 10:301, .lobo Maronets is Director.
WEDNESDAY AT 3 is capably filled. by Shirley
Taylor, Channel s consumer editor. Mrs. Taylor
examines new or faulty products and services and
speaks for and to the consumer with reports on her
comparative shopping expeditions. Her director is
John Mahoney.
THURSDAY AT :1 features housewife-actress
Heather Brandt on arts and entertainment. Mrs.
Brandt's guests will include visiting artists from the
worlds of music, dance, comedy and drama. Bob
Peel directs THURSDAY AT 3.
FRIDAY AT 3 has Becky Carnegie with in-
teresting VIP's visiting London and area. Mrs. Car-
negie's guests will include politicians, authors and
entertainers, FRIDAY AT 3 is directed by .Jerry
Hancock.
