On Friday evening, Septem-
ber 6 in a candlelight ceremony
in the Dungannon United
Church Nancy Jean Stothers
and Rodney Sterling Jervis
were united in marriage in a
double-ring ceremony;
The bride is the younger
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robt.
Stothers, Dungannon, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Jervis, Clinton..
Groomsman was Greg Jervis,
Clinton, younger brother of the
groom,
Ushers were Jim Stothers,
brother of the bride and ,Rick
Fremlin friend of the groom.
The entrance hymn Praise
My Soul The King of Heaven
was played by the church
organist, Mrs. Arthur
McMichael,
Rev. R,C. McClenaghan of-
ficiated. The bride was escorted
to the altar by her father.
She wore a formal length
gown of polyester sheer over
taffeta with a deep V-neckline
and a softly falling collar edged
with embroidered florets.
The long slender ,sleeves were
enhanced by pin tucking and
edged with the matching
florets. The full A-
line skirt was bonded with pale
pink organza above a knife
pleated flounce that extended

flowers, fruits and vegetables
decorated the windows of St.
James Anglican Church, Mid-
dleton, last Sunday for the ser-
vice of Harvest Thanksgiving,
During the, service, they,
departed briefly, while James
Storey and ten. Mills led in
song with 'guitars, as theY
perambulated around the ,
church, stopping at each wall to'
give a prayer of 'Thanksgiving.
As they re-entered the
church, they carried gifts of
produce to the altar for
blessings, which will be
distributed among needy
families under the Children
Aid Society.
During the offering, the choir
sang a lovely anthem called
Lord of Harvest.

Mrs. Ray Wise will open her
home for the A.C.W. of St.
James Anglican Church, Mid-
dleton Thursday evening, Oc-
tober 10th,
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Kelly,
Woodstock spent Sunday at the
home of the latter's parents,

waist line. A bridal cap held
the lace-edged silk illusion veil.
Her flowers were a nosegay of
pink roses, carnations, daisies
and baby's breath with lace rib-

The maid of honor was Miss
Jennifer Linklater of London
and the bridesmaids were Miss
Ruth Bamford of Cambridge,
Cousin of the bride, and Miss
Mary Kathleen Stothers, Lon-
don, sister of the bride. They
were gowned alike in mint
green matte jersey floor-length
dresses with long sleeves and
short see-through net jackets.
They carried bouquets of
miniature pink carnations and
daisies with forget-me-nots.
During the wedding
ceremony, Tim Hill of Goderich
accompanying himself* on
guitar sang Annie's Song and
during the signing of the
register sang First Time Ever I
saw :Your Face.
The reception' was held at
Saitford with arrangements of
candles and roses decorating
the tables. The wedding cake
decorated the bride's table .
The bride's mother received
the guests in a formal gown of
flowered pink sheer over taffeta
and an orchid corsage. She was
assisted by the groom's mother
wearing a floor length ice blue
formal gown with a V-neckline,
long full sleeves and an A-line
skirt. She wore an orchid cor-
sage.
For the wedding trip the
bride changed into a long
flowered skirt with a con-
trasting long sleeved blouse.
She wore a single large pink
rose corsage.
The bride was entertained ate
several showers prior to her
marriage: in Clinton by Mrs.
Kay Falconer; in Goderich by
Mrs. Janet Block, in Dungan-
non by Mrs. Sharon Dawson
and Mrs. Sue Brown; in
Goderich by Miss Jennifer
Linklater and in Dungannon
community a gift of a beautiful
antique framed mirror was
presented to her,
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jervis
entertained the rehearsal party
at their home in Clinton.
After the reception and
dance the couple left for a trip
to New York State and New
York City.
Guests attended from Ot-
tawa, Toronto, Listowel, Clin-
ton, Goderich, London, Strat-
ford, Kincardine and Cam-
bridge.
Bervie United Church was
the setting for the September
14 wedding which united
Beverley Ann McLelland of
Clinton and Eric Alvin Schilbe
of RR 1, Bayfield.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McLelland
of RR 4, Kincardine, and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Schilbe of RR 1,
Bayfield.
Rev. Robert Clyde conducted
the double ring ceremony, and
Wilda McLelland, a sister of
the bride, played the organ.
Given in marriage by her
brother, Raye, the bride chose a
polyester crepe, egg shell, floor-
length gown with contrasting
dotted Swiss sleeves and a
yoke. She wore a white floor-
length veil trimmed with lace
similar to that on the dress.
She carried a bouquet of red
and pink carnations and
daisies.

clotted Swiss and with short
sleeves, and . trimmed with
green and white daisy lace.
Tammy Schilbe, sister of the
groom, was the flower girl and
she was dressed in a pink gown
of dotted pink Swiss, accented
with shite lace. She carried a
bouquet of pink carnations, and
white daisies and she had pink
cloth flowers entwined in her
hair.
Fred Vanderhaar of RR 2,
Bayfield was the groomsman.
Following the wedding, a,
dinner was held at the home of
the bride's parents and' a recep-
tion was held later at the
Bayfield Community Centre.
The bride's mother greeted
guests wearing a floor-length
medium blue dress\ and she
wore a corsage of pink car-
nations. The groom's mother.
assisted -wearing a polyester
satin pink flowered floor-length
dress and she wore a corsage of
pink and white carnations,;.,

Lyndon of Goderich,
Rev. John Beaton Officiated.
Candelabra entwined with
pink and white mums and tiny
pink rosebuds and a floral cen-
terpiece decorated the church.
Mrs. Howard Pym, aunt of
the bride was the soloist and
Mrs. Philip Johns played the
organ.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, chose a gown of
crystal Peau fashioned in Vic-
torian lines with a ruffled
neckline and skirt. Flury lace
and tiny seed pearls adorned
the yoke. A chapel veil com-
plemented her ensemble. She
carried a nosegay of white baby
mums and pink roses,
