met in the church hail on
Thurs. Sept, 19th with 24
present; when all enjoyed a pot
luck dinner.
Mrs. Edna Adams presided
for the meeting later, and
opened with a poem "On Wings
of Prayer", A hymn was sung,
followed by reading Psalm 99
in unison. Mrs. N. Holland
gave the meditation and Mrs.
C. Holland led in prayer. Mrs.
Adams gave a paper on the
first settlers of our town and
when some important events.

The second meeting of the
Clinton 114-H was held at Mrs,
Howse on Monday. The
meeting was opened by the
president, Judy Tiesma, Roll
call was answered by nine
members who stated why they
like to entertain. The secretary
then read the minutes from the
previous meeting. The chosen
colour for our record books is
yellow, which was suggested by
Wendy Tyndall, When the
business was completed, the
meeting was turned over to the
leaders,
The leaders then showed us
and discussed the different
types of tableware, After we
matched tableware to different
placernats, we set our own tabli3
for six peOple, Three members
set the table and served the
guests while the rest sat down
and practiced our manners.

Church on October 6 at 7:30.
