Everybody's Favourite "McKenzie!, ov er 4,000 here toured Boron jail Since the opening of the penal instituation early in the summer the staff and par- ticularly co-ordinator Harry Bosnell have initiated several changes in the tour procedure that have taken the load off the guides. Rather than operating on the basis of guided tours, the staff now give each tourist a sheet that explains the features of the museum as one arrives at them and also directs one through the buildings. The guides are now acting more as traffic controllers and are helping out be selling tickets at the door and man- ning the craft booths when the artiste or producers are not there, Mr. Bosnell reports that the number of guides is still the same as it was under the old system. Adult volunteers are proving to be a great asset to the jail by easing the pressure put on the guides and by of- fering some leadership for the younger groups that visit the jail, FRIDAY NIGHT HARNESS RACING Goderich Raceway POST TIME 7:45 P.M.
