Prevention
program '
On July 1, 1974 the Ontario
Provincial Police made
available on a full time baiis a
Community Services Officer for
the County of Huron. This of-
ficer will be working out of the
Goderich O.P.P. office and will
be available through that office
or your local O.P.P. office.
The Community Services Of-
ficer will be attempting to: con-
duct crime prevention
programs; advise business
establishments regarding crime
prevention and security; inform
the public on the latest in crime
prevention information and on
how it can protect itself and
participate in crime prevention;
create a better understanding
in the minds of the public of the
police role, its capabilities and
limitations.
