delabras and bouquets of white
gladiolii and coral tinted
daisies.
The groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Clarence Crawford of
Blyth and the bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Donard.Caldwell of RR 1, Lon-
desboro.
Reverend Stanley C.
McDonald officiated for the
double ring ceremony. The
organist was Mrs. Allen
Boman and the soloist was
Miss Lloy Shaddick. She sang
the Wedding Song and "Walk
Hand in Hand."
The bride, given in marriage
by her parents, looked char-
ming in a floor-length gown of
white silk jersey styled with
long slee:es and a V-neckline.
Her gown was enhanced with
clusters of pearls around the
waistline and a flowing train.
Her shoillder7,1ength' xel I 'of silk
-illusion was' held in place by .a
lielmet-style,. headpiece of
guipiure lace encrusted' with
crystals and pearls. She carried
three long-stemmed coral roses
and baby's breath.
Attending her as maid of
honour was Miss Wendy
Richardson of Toronto and the
bridesmaid was Mrs. Don
Parker of Goderich. They wore
identical sleeveless gowns of
coral crepe, large white hats
and carried a single long-
stemmed white rose.
The groomsman was Mr.
Don Parker of Goderich, and
Mr. Wm. Crawford of Clinton,
brother of the groom was the
usher.
Following the ceremony, a
wedding dinner and reception
was held in the Auburn Com-
munity Hall. The bridal party
were assisted in receiving the
guests by `the bride's mother,
wearing a ',floor-length gown
and jacket of silk Jersey in
orange ice shade, and a gar-
denia corsage. She was assisted
by the groom'srnother, wearing
a floor-length gown of pink
.crepe with a lace bodice and a
gardenia corsage.
The three — tiered wedding
cake, decorated in oral shade
and vases of coral roses, ador-
ned the tables. One hundred
and thirty guests, were present
from Londesboro, Blyth, Clin-

The groom's parents enter-
tained the wedding party and
friends after the wedding
rehearsal. Prior to their wed-
ding Wendy and Charlie were
entertained at several showers
and coupleg parties. They left

Organist was Mrs. Leonard
Reid and the soloist was Miss
Nancy Errington, a cousin of
the bride.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a classical gown in
twinkle sheer crystalette with
long straight sleeves. Two rows
of frilled aqua dotted
crystalette trimmed the high
Victorian neckline with similar
trim on the cuffs and hemline.
The skirt was caught at the
waist with a long cathedral
train trimmed with aqua dot-
ted crystalette. Belgian lace
petals accented the Juliet head-
piece which held her shoulder-
length veil of pure silk illusion.
The bride carried a trailing
bouquet of white shasta daisies,
pink roses and blue
stephanotis.

dra Errington, sister of the

Dominion Day.
Nearly 50 persons attended,
including Dr. and Mrs. Edward

of Blyth and Miss Agnes Mid-
dleton of Goderich. A bountiful
smorgasbord supper was en-

The Kinsmen Club of Clinton

party last Saturday evening at
Stewart Middleton's Park.
The Lions Club of Clinton,
their wives and families are
holding a pot luck picnic dinner
at the Middleton Park on San=
day July 7th at 1 p.m..
The sympathy of the com-
munity goes out to Mr. and
Mrs. John Cole, whose son,
John, was the victim of a car ac-
cident last Saturday morning.
While on a recent trip to Sar-
nia, Mrs. Fred Middleton took
the opportunity of calling on

Kennedy, step-brother of the

The wedding reception was
at Saltford Valley Hall after
which the couple left on a
honeymoon trip to Niagara
Falls.
They are residing in Clinton,
Prior to her marriage, the
bride was honored with bridal
showers at the homes of her
aunts, Mrs. Harold Errington,
Dungannon and Mrs. Barry
Hackett, Ashfield. Township,
and a community shower in
Dungannon United Church.
The bride's co-workers were en-
tertained at the home. of Mrs.

Mrs. Powell by Mrs. Bill Lobb
followed and she presented her
with a lovely clock.
Mrs. Powell thanked
everyone for coming and for the
clock. Lunch was served by ,
Goderich Township Women's
Institute.
