Clinton then came to life and within minutes of Goderich's goal, Brian Jewitt shot for the top left hand corner. Goderich goalie Moller could only palm the ball which went straight to Charlie Lipp who made no mistake in putting the ball away tying the game at one goal each. Clinton kept pressing and consistently beat the Goderich players to the ball, ' Clinton's Gord Riley followed instructions and com- pletely, obliterated "danger man" Refflinghaus who was never in the game after his ef- fort in the first 30 seconds.
