The first threshing demonstration of this year’s Reunion went off without a hitch as the men climbed atop the large pile of grain and the threshing machine started with no problems. With dozens of patrons waiting to see some threshing, it was easy to see that this demonstration is one of the Reunion’s main attractions. After adding a second stand of bleachers to the threshing area, organizers saw both stands full for nearly every threshing demonstration. (Shawn Loughlin photos) Bulls sell from $50-$65 with sales to $72.50 The Jodi King Freedom Concert at Huron Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 30 was fantastic. This was in co- operation with IJM (International Justice Mission) and proceeds will be used to liberate children in India who have been sold into slavery. The youth at Huron Chapel raised over $600 for IJM from concert proceeds and now have a total of $1,950 which is almost enough to free four children from slavery in India. They just need another $50. Knox United was back to regular service time for Sept. 7. Huron Chapel welcomed the worship team back after their summer break. Sunday evening services have begun again. Auburn children’s choir will be starting Thursday, Sept. 18 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at Huron Chapel.
