Born in Morris Twp. on Sept. 1, 1935, Laurie was in his 73rd year. Laurie was the beloved husband of Margaret (Kerr) Black. He was the dear father of Lori Ann Black and husband Alek Marchewka of Mississauga and Susan Black and husband Ash Eilander of Airdrie, Alberta. He was the loving grandfather of Aidan and Liam. Laurie was the dear brother of Sheila and Brian Prescott of Brussels,Wally and Valerie Black of New Hamburg and Bob and Anita Black of Wingham. He was the dear brother- in-law of Bob Kerr of Seaforth and Betty Taylor of Goderich. Laurie was predeceased by his brother Don. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received one hour before the Celebration of Laurie’s Life to be held at Melville Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Born in Morris Twp. on June 11,1924, Anne was in her 85th year.Anne was the loving wife of the late Lorne Bryans. She was the dear mother of Patricia Fleming (Ernie Reid) of Belle River, Carrol Fowler (Bob) of Windsor and Lorna Tintinalli (Butch) of Belle River. She was the loving grandmother of Dean Cameron (Sandy), Darrill Cameron (Kathy), Robyn Craig (Jeff), Bradley Fowler (Joan), Kyle Fowler (Sylvia) and great-grandmother of Amanda, Dale, Jack, Hannah, Mackenzie and Morgan. She was the dear sister of Casey McCutcheon (Betty) of Brussels, George McCutcheon of Brussels, Berva Rice of Listowel, Jack McCutcheon (Esther) of Brussels, Robert McCutcheon (Jeanette) of Kelowna, Marg Smith (Bernell) of Listowel, and Mel McCutcheon (Lois) of Brussels. Her brothers Lorne, Bill and Fred predeceased her. Friends were received by the family from 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted from St. John’s Anglican Church on Wednesday, July 30 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Wilson officiating. Burial took place in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Morris Twp. with Anne’s grandchildren acting as pallbearers. She was in her 50th year. Faye was the beloved wife of Geoff Priest. She was the loving mother of Aaron, Andrew and Gillian, all at home. She was the dearly loved daughter of Bill and Maxine Seers of Goderich and daughter-in-law of Alfred and Rose Priest of London. She was the cherished sister and sister-in-law of Gail and Alan Reid of Hensall, Carol and Bert Reinink of Walton, and Rosemarie Martin of Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was also loved by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., Blue- water Chapel, 201 Suncoast Dr. E., Goderich on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Monday,Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. Interment was in Ball’s Cemetery, Hullett Twp. MADELINE ROSE Madeline Mary (Parker) Rose of Brussels, passed away at Clinton Public Hospital, on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008. Born in Gravenhurst on Jan. 9, 1912, Madeline was in her 96th year.Madeline was the beloved wife ofthe late George Eric Rose. She was the dear mother of Stephen Rose of Mississauga, Don Rose and Claudia of Goderich, Larry Rose and Barb of Brussels, Roy Rose and Shirley of Mississauga, Ken Rose and Carol of Mississsauga, and Linda Verhoy and Neil of Chatham. She was the dear sister of Peggy Randall of Guelph. Madeline was also loved by her 13 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. Her daughter Marie Pulfer, two brothers and a sister predeceased her. A private graveside service was conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Brussels Cemetery, officiated by Sandra Cable of Brussels United Church. He was 73. Eldon was the beloved husband of the former Lorraine Hanna. He was the dear father of Deb Hopper and James Woodley of RR5, Wingham, Judy and Randy McLean of Goderich, Greg and Judy Cook of RR1, Belgrave and Eric and Tracy Cook of Blyth. He was the brother of Robert and Patricia Cook of Kincardine. Eldon is also lovinglyremembered by 12 grandchildrenand nine great-grandchildren. His parents Lewis and Verna (Sturdy) Cook, two infant brothers and his great-grandson Travis Power predeceased him. Visitation was at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Leslie Cook officiated.
