The Walkerburn Club held a
picnic for the whole community
earlier this summer. Once again
those who did attend had great food
and a good visit with neighbours. It
was good to have Walter and Eunice
Cunningham from Fort Frances
present as many people hadn’t seen
them for a number of years, so were
glad of the opportunity to visit with
them again.
The Club ladies also prepared and
served lunch for Len and Betty
Archambault’s 60th anniversary.
There was a good turnout and it kept
the ladies busy all afternoon.
As the club takes a summer recess,
there will not be a meeting until
Monday, Sept. 15 at the home of
Betty Archambault.
