The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev, J, E. Kelly amid baskets of gladipli and apricot poms. Escorted by her father, the bride was lovely in a floor­ length gown of French crepe. The A-line skirt flowed from a fitted bodice and applique of daisy lace bordered the chapel train. A cluster of daisy lace and pearls held the four­ tiered French illusion veil and. she carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis. Miss Kay Sharp, sister of the bride, Clinton, as maid of honor chose a floor-length A-line gown of green peau de sole and carried a. crescent of apricot poms. Joanne Sharp, niece, of the bride, Clinton, as flower girl was gowned identically to the maid of honor, Groomsman was Bill Suther­ land, Newmarket. Ushers were Jim Durnin, London, and Bob Caldwell, Clinton, Ricky Sharp, • nephew of the bride, Clinton, was the ringbearer. The wedding dinner was ser­ ved at Hotel Clinton. Mrs. Sharp receiving her guests, wore a two-piece dress of deep pink and silver with matching hat, black accessories and a cor­ sage of white carnations. She was assisted by the groom’s sister, Mrs, Robert Needham., who selected a dress of jade green with lace trim and a corsage of yellow roses. The couple travelled to Cape Cod for their honeymoon. The bride’s going-away ensemble •was a three-piece double knit suit of deep pink, black patent accessories and a corsage of white carnations. They will reside at 57 Kelvin •Ave., Kitchener. Showers were given for the bride prior to her marriage. Relatives gathered at the bride’s home to present her with gifts; neighbours honored her at the home of Mrs. Frank Lobb; friends gathered at the home of Mrs. Eugene Du­ charme; and fellow employees at the Bell Telephone Company feted her at the home of Mrs. Bill Chowen. she carried a bouquet of shasta daisies apd yellow sweetheart rosesjtwJned with ivy. Hey attendant, matron of honor Mrs. James McMartin, London, wore a floor-length gown of turquoise chiffon oyer taffeta,with a shasta daisy head­ piece, She parried a bouquet of shasta daisies, Doug Can tel on, Clinton, was the groomsman and Gerald Cox Clinton, and James McMartin, London, were the ushers. Mrs. McCowan received her guests in the church parlor as­ sisted by the groom’s mother, Mrs, Cox, The former chose a suit of rust French wool bro­ cade, black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. The latter wore a dress of pea- cock blue silk knit, black and gold accessories and a corsage of pink roses. For a honeymoon spent in the Eastern United States, the bride donned her travelling costume, a green wool suit, beige acces. sories and a corsage of inver­ ted daisy petals. Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Cox will reside in Clinton.
