Given in marriage by pey father, tpe bride wore a floor­ length gown of silk organza over taffeta featuring an empire waistpvith an A-line skirt trim­ med with chantilly lace repeated on the dress bodice and the long lily-point sleeves. The detach* able chapel train was adorned with panels of lace and a crown jQt crystals and pearls held her tiered French silk illusion veil. On a white Bible, she carried a spray of sweetheart roses and stephanotis. Maid of honor was Miss Darlene Kerr, London, Brides, maids were Mrs. James Snell, Clinton, and Mrs. William Fish- bach, New Hamburg. They were gowned alike in deep mint green dresses. designed similarly to the bride’s and featured panels of silk organza and lace flowing from the shoulders. Flower girls were Donna Henderson, Seaforth, and Peggy Jones, Clinton. The couple have two dauglw ters, Mrs. Jack (Marie) Far- relly and Mrs, Gordon (Lynn) Dallose, and one son Colin, at home. A surprise shower was given her at the horpe of Mrs. James Snell, with Miss Ann Snell and Miss Peggie Jones presenting the gifts. The bride’s mother, Mrs. Gordon E. Surprise party Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wright were honored last Saturday night with a surprise party on the occasion of their 35th wed­ ding anniversary. The evening was spent play­ ing euchre followed by lunch including a beautifully decor­ ated wedding cake served with ice cream. The family presented the cel­ ebrants with a lovely gift.
