At the Bayfield ^-Clinton course twenty-seven golfers pitted their net score against Moe Norman’s gross score of 71, They were competing for a trophy, and special Centennial medals. Each player donates one dollar per round, the money being sharedbetweentheO.G.A. for its junior development pro. gramme and the local club. This years winners were; Ed. Flegg of London and George Telford. Both received medals and George Telford won the trophy with a net 68. The annual junior tournament at Bayfield is a regular event and the boys are given free entry, lunch, and good prizes. The closing meeting of the CWL was held at the Comm­ unity Centre, in the form of a pot-luck supper, Twenty-five ladies attended the gathering Which was presided by Mrs. Marie Rocheleau.
