AUDITORIUM Clinton on FRIDAY, MAY 4 9:00 - 12:00 To COPPER PENNY ADMISSION WITH STUDENT WITHOUT CARD CARD $1.50 $1.15 a a a a aa a a a a a On April 14, the Clinton Calvinettes travelled by bus to Aylmer for the Annual Spring Rally. There they competed with other clubs for different projects. One of the Clinton girls won first prize in poetry. Yvonne Lazet composed and recited the following poem: LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW Let's say you received a gift one day A• gift from a friend who lived far away. It gleamed and it shone in the morning light. I'm sure you'd be happy, overjoyed and gay And show everyone your gift that day. And I know you would thank her as soon as you can. And probably say it all over again Now God has given us a gift from above A gift to show us His Heavenly love He sent us His Son, His only dear Son, Who died on the cross for each and everyone. Now did you tell everyone of the gift you received? And of Jesus our Saviour in whom you believe? I'm sure you don't tell every person you know. What happened to those seeds you're suppose to sow? God's Son is far greater than that gift you got That gift she picked out and so graciously bought prize at Spring Rally Let everyone know say it with all your might Tell everyone you meet from morning till night. Let everyone know, say it as loud as you can And say it all over and over again. — Yvonne Lazet Varna - BY FRED McCLYMONT A special Easter Service was held in the United Church last Sunday with Rev.
