The minutes of the last meeting were read by Nancy Fawcett, Everyone answered the roll call by showing their pattern and their material, We filled our handout sheets and then divided into three groups. A 2-0 win over Myth in the morning, set them in good stead for the afternoon game. After a hard fought battle against Gorrie, Bayfield emerged the victors with a 2-1 score, with both goals being slapped • in by Scott Consitt. Manager Pat Graham and Coach George Telford, were a pretty proud pair of gentlemen as they proudly displayed the trophy. Euchre Club The Euchre Club held a Social evening in the Municipal Building, Wednesday evening, March 21 with eight tables of cards in play. Winners were, Greta Scotchmer, ladies' high; Margaret Dowson, ladies' low; Mel Davison, men's high and Ernie Elliott, men's low. A lovely lunch was served and the next party will be Wed. Apr. 4 at 8:00 p.m., in the Municipal Building, Figure Skating A 10 a.m. coffee meeting in the Arena on Sat. morning, March 31, is planned for anyone interested in the Figure Skating Club. If you don't have anyone figure skating, but you are interested in the chib they would appreciate you coming out. Future plans for -the club, the skating carnival that was cancelled and general business will be up for discussion. Promotion V.J. Atkins, secretary- treasurer of Nashua Canada, Limited, recently took pleasure in announcing the appointment of James W. Robinson to the newly created position of manager financial control and analysis. Ladies Auxiliary The Ladies' Auxiliary held their meeting at the home of Rosemarie Taman on Tuesday, March 20 with eight members present. The meeting opened with the guide prayer, followed by the minutes of the last meeting read by Marilyn Haw and treasurer's report read by Ann Chapman. A discussion ensued regar- ding a Cub leader and the L.A, are hopeful that they will find one for the fall. The Ladies' Auxiliary took charge of the March of Dimes and were pleased with the proceeds and the response of the citizens. It was decided to have a Bake Sale on July 6. The meeting closed with the Benediction and a lovely lunch was served. The next meeting will be held May 15 at the home of Ann Chapman. A weekend guest of the LeBeau's was Dorothea Thompson of Toronto. She accompanied Mrs. Fletcher McLaughlin, Meagan, Alfie and Courtney back to Toronto on Sunday. The McLaughlin family had been with the LeBeau's for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bedard, Brantford were with his sister and family Mr. and Mrs. John Wild, R R 3, Hayfield for the weekend. Cottage visitors over the weekend included the Lauden- bachs of Toronto, the George Kalanzis of Birmingham, Michigan, the Joe Beechies, London, and the Norman Browns of London. Registered guests at the Albion Hotel this past weekend were Dr. G. and Mary Shepherd, Windsor, Mr. and Mrs. William Guilfoyle, Billy, Susan and Tracey of Sarnia; and Mrs. Robert Maloney of Chatham. Mrs, Wilfred Scott is recuperating at home, having spent a few days last week in Seaforth Community Hospital. Billy and Debbie Preszcator spent a few days the past week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Scott of Parkhill. Mrs. William Storey spent Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Harvey Jacobi of Kippen, when they had a birth- day celebration for Mrs. Don McLeod, Kerni Medd spent a few days of the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Medd and Kim of Blyth. Mrs. Don Glousher, Billy, Karen and Graham of Blyth spent Saturday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Dale. To open the meeting, we saw a film on choosing your occupation. Af- ter, we played a game called People Bingo and then broke up. from one large group into our clubs. With our leader, Murray Scott, we discussed the material in our folders. We also elected the officers.
