Dear Brother Gideon: I sim-
)ly can't believe it! It is in-
redible, scandulous. It insults
ur entire organization. We
ealize times are hard and
here have been many who
were forced to leave your
locality. But, this is the first
time in all our ancient
tradition that a man has
reduced his constituency from
10,000 to 300!
Gideon, we placed you in
charge of that situation in the
hopes that you would do a
great work for the Lord. In-
stead, you began by setting
standards which alienated vast
numbers of your people. We
heard from the very first how
you were literally asking people
to leave your organization if
they did not fit your arbitrary
standards.
Not once, but again and
again, you kept setting up ar-
tificial qualifications for your
people. And, as if that weren't

enough, after you had reduced
your numbers to merely 300,
you apparently abandoned all
control. Besides your own
folly, you allowed those ruf-
fians who stayed with you to
break up their lighting fixtures
and in general raise so much
noise that they drove off
thousands of potential
prospects! I trust you have
arranged to replace those ex-
pensive items.
If you want a smaller
situation, we have some
already as small as 300 or less,
and I intend to see that you
serve one as far out in the
desert as we can get you. And,
any more such exhibitions as
you have displayed there will
cause us to immediately act to
revoke your credentials.
This seems to be the trouble
with trying to get these sup-
posedly "well prepared" young
men from our training centers.
They do not understand local
situations at all .
Don't you realize, Gideon, if
you had been more careful, you
could have been serving the
largest flock of any of your own
classmates? You had a great
opportunity, but you just drove
people away.
I don't know what on Earth
you hoped to achieve. The
work of God will never be the
same because of yon!

chapter of Mathew, after
enumerating conditions that we
have actually experienced since
1914 as evidence of his
"coming" and his "kingdom",
the preaching was to be, accor-
ding to verse 14, THIS good
news of the kingdom. It was to
be preached in all the world for
a witness before Daniel 2:44
has its fulfillment: "In the
days of these kings".
In the face of all the dif-
ficulties man is encountering in
his efforts to govern mankind,
it should be "good news" to
hear that "the government
shall be upon his (Christ's)
shoulder, and of his govern-
ment and of peace there shall
be no end." (Isaiah 9:6,7)
THIS "good news" is being
preached in all the inhabited
earth today; but not by
"religious leaders".

2nd Peter 1. 20, 21 Knowing
this first, that no prophecy of
the scripture is of any private
interpretation. For the
prophecy came not in old time
by the will of man: but holy
men of God spake as they were
moved by the Holy Ghost.
2nd Pet. 2. I. 3 But there
were false prophets also among
the people, even as there shall
be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in dam-
nable heresies, even denying
the Lord that bought them and
bring upon themselves swift
destruction. And many shall,
follow their pernicious ways:
by reason of whom the way of
truth shall be evil spoken of,
And through covetousness shall
they with feigned words make
merchandise of you: whose
judgment now of a- long. time
lingereth not, and their dam-
nation slumbereth not.
1 John 2. 22 Who is a liar
but he that denieth that Jesus
is the Christ? He is antichrist,
that denieth the Father and the
