FEBRUARY 8, 1973 Bowling News Clinton will be well represen- ted at the Zone Finals of Youth Bowling Council which will he held in Collingwood this coming Sunday, February 1L Should any of the six teams, win there, they will move on to the provincial finals in March and thence to the national finals in Saskatoon in April. Clinton will be represented by senior, junior, and bantam teams. Each will field a girl's and boy's team, as well as singles. In other bowling action, The Goldens still retain a slim lead in the Molson's Crown Mixed League with an 80 point ac- cumulation. They are followed closely by Hi-Jinx's and the Crown Jewels, each with 78. Behind the leaders come Zip Cats with 67; Six Pack, 56; Dot's Spots 47; Half and Half, 38; Canadians, 32. Kaye Harris had both the ladies' high single of 250 and the high triple of 709, while Gerry Harris has the high average of 209. Ron Ellerby had the men's high single of 301, Les Turner had the high triple of 698, and Bruce Collins had the high average of 216. In the Clinton Crown Y.B.C.
