Mis talk was on ‘'Leadership and Sportsmanship” and after Wards questions' were answered. The Area Cadet Officer showed a film, “Trooping the Colours”. On April 2nd, 120 Cadets left for Ipperwash for a “Shooting Match”. It lasted for two days •and a militiaman from Clinton, Ken Strong, Won two prizes — best rookie militiaman and sec­ ond best shot. They were all tired after the long ride home in an open Chess Our chess turn match April 4. Out of the 15 games played, Clinton won only three. The Academic In­ structors’ School is part of the USAF Air University, and vast educational com­ plex, including .the Squadron Officers School, Allied Officers School and the Air War College and various other schools situated at Maxwell. F/L’s Brabant and Kingwell were the only two Canadians attending AIC, but many other nations, including Argentina,. Turkey, West Germany, Afghanistan, Laos and Nation­ alist China were represented. They received USAF Air University medal at . graduation ceremonies from Colonel B. F. Smith. PLAN Aid From CHSS And Chocolate Sales To London London was the for 43 students on The Audio Visual, and Camera Clubs Newspaper Club on the new London Free Press Building. They arrived on time for the 1:30 p.m. tour. Guides took them through the new 6.5 million dollar building. Among the; features they saw were the president’s1 office, newsroom and the large presses. After theiitr tour, they relaxed in a large conference room with re­ freshments and the guides an­ swered the many questions. Leaving there, they travelled out to the OFPL-TV station. Here they were again greeted very cordially and were-taken on a fully explained tour of the station. The higih-lites of this tour were the actual tap­ ing of a commercial by Bill Brady, and the storeroom for all the props. Although the busy d'ay and the long ride home made them all very tired, they were glad that they were able to go. The latest public­ ation includes one in the Sora tongue, the language of -a hill tribe in the Indian State of Or­ issa, where Canadian Baptist missionaries have been at work. One complete Bible has been added to the list and that for the Twi: Aslant© people of Ghana. Complete Bibles now appear in 237 languages.
