Pensions Urged By
LieOry Farm Forum
Monday evening Lieury Farm
Forum met at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. William Patterson with
an attendance of 18.
Two groups were formed to
discuss the subject, "A Pension
for everyone.”
It was agreed they must still
continue with pension as it now
is; others thought they should
set the price according to the
cost of living. For example, we
are now paying such a high price
for everything and that $70
would he suitable at present.
However all agreed with a
war hovering over us the aged
and helpless must be cared for.
Next meeting will be held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs, Mel
vin Allison.
If elected I promise to give careful consideration
to the interests of the ratepayers throughout the
township and will serve the municipality to the best^
of my ability.
