trustees with a turkey supper
with Mrs. A, Pymn, Mrs. W.
Routly, Mrs. Garnet Johns and,
Mrs, C. Stephens as managing
committee for same. Trustees to
be in charge of program. Mrs.
A. Pym gave a reading on Sun
day Schools in Korea, and a
'Playette entitled ‘’People Grow
Older" with Mrs. Alan Johns,
Phil Johns, Mrs. W. Routly,

E. Hodgert and Arnold Charles
Cann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orvil
le Cann of Thames Road. Mrs.
Reg Hodgert played the wed
ding music and Mr, Harry Hern
soloist, sang “I Love You Truly"
before the service and “Because"
during the signing of the regi
ster.

white slipper satin with nylon
yoke and long sleeves extending
in lily points over the wrist.
The gown was trimmed with
drapes of embroidered lace and,
fell in a long train. Her floor
length veil of embroidered net
was caught with seed pearls. She
wore a set of rhinestone neck
lace and ear rings, a gift of the
groom, and carried a cascade
bouquet of Better Time roses.
The bride was attended by
Miss Lois Swartz of London,
friend of the bride, as maid of
honour, in yellow embossed or
ganza, with yoke of nylon net
and fashioning caught with seed
pearls, a fitted waist, and a hoop
skirt caught up at the sides with
seed pearls to show the lace ruf
fles of the petticoat. Brides
maids were Miss Elsie Bray of
London, friend of the bride, and
Miss Jean Hodgert of London,
cousin of the bride, who wore
gowns of blue and pink respec
tively, the gowns being
to that of the maid

Mary’s Lemon Pie Recipe
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
Grated rind and juice of
lemon
2 tbsps. butter
% tsp. salt
1 baked pie shell
Separate eggs. Beat the yolks
with ¥2 cup of sugar in top part
of double boiler. Add. lemoxf
rind, juice and butter. , Cook
over hot water, stirring constant
