Ladies1 League
It’s getting to the point now'
where we are almost - afraid to
walk into the bowling alley .when
the lassies of the ladies’ league
are bowling. Last week we just
happened to wander in there,
minding our own business, when
we were accosted by quite an
irate young lady. She demanded
an explanation to something we
had written, etc,, etc., also a re
traction of said article. As, it
turned out we were not in the
wrong; she had been reading
the wrong issue ,of this sheet,
She humbly apologized to us the
next day. Aren’t women hard to
figure out? Keep it up though,
girls, we really get a big kick
out of it, and we don’t take to
heart anything you may say to
us.* * *
Wednesday night, the Rookies
and Whizzers squared off and
the result was a split in points.
Mae Trites paced the Rookies
