Livestock for the week ending Sept.
25 were 2,102 head of cattle, 673
lambs and goats. On Tuesday fed
steers and heifers sold on a lower
market. Choice steers and heifers
sold $80 to $83. Second cut sold $78
to $80. Cows sold on a strong active
trade. On Thursday veal sold on a
good strong active market with
prices slightly easier than last week.
Light lambs sold steady where the
heavier lambs sold $2 to $5 lower.
Sheep sold steady and goats sold on
a strong active trade. On Friday
calves and yearlings sold on a strong
steady active trade.
There were 153 steers on offer.
