Huronlea Home for the Aged on
Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009. Born in
Wroxeter on April 6, 1919, Isobel
was in her 91st year.
Isobel was the beloved wife of the
late Gerald Patterson Gibson, who
predeceased her on Jan. 24, 2007.
Isobel was the dear mother of
Mary Douma and her husband
Maurice of Morris Twp, Don Gibson
and his wife Cathy of London, Peter
Gibson and his wife Kate of
Stratford, and Peggy Aitchison and
her husband Bill of Brussels. She
was the loving grandmother of Laura
and Jamie Hallahan, Heather and
Amy Douma, Mike and Jeff Gibson,
Pam, Mark and Scott Gibson, and
Kate, Mary Ann and Colleen
Aitchison, and great-grandmother to
Avery and Callum Hallahan. Isobel
was also loved by her sister Edith
McFadzean of Toronto and her many
nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by her brother-in-law
Tom McFadzean.
Friends were received by the
family from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Fridayfrom the Schimanski Family FuneralHome where the funeral service was
conducted on Saturday, Aug. 29 at
12 p.m. officiated by Rev. Cathrine
Campbell.
A remembrance of Isobel was
given by her daughter-in-law Kate
Gibson. Margaret McInroy sang
Precious Lord Take My Hand.
Pallbearers were grandchildren
Mike, Jeff, Mark, Scott and Pam
Gibson and Colleen Aitchison.
Carrying floral tributes for their
grandmother were Laura Hallahan,
Amy and Heather Douma and Kate
and Mary Ann Aitchison.
Interment was in Brussels
Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy,
memorial donations may be made to
the Huronlea Auxiliary or to
Melville Presbyterian Church.

MURRAY NESBITT
Murray Nesbitt of Blyth passed
away suddenly on Tuesday, Aug. 25,
2009 He was in his 58th year. Murray was the beloved husbandof Connie Nesbitt. He was the loving
father of Jeff and Michelle Nesbitt of
Blyth and Cathy and Don Timmons
of New Hamburg. He was the
cherished grandfather of Josilin,
Kaila, Luke, Marissa and Brody.
Murray will be sadly missed by his
mother Florence Nesbitt of Seaforth
and his mother-in-law Jean Nethery.
He was the dear brother and brother-
in-law of Linda Nesbitt and Lloyd
Good of London, Brenda and Jim
Kitching of St. Marys and Maurice
and Kathy Nesbitt of Shedden.
Murray will also be greatly missed
by the Nethery family and many
aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father
George Nesbitt and his father-in-law
Alex Nethery.
Murray was a councillor for the
Twp. of North Huron and a
longstanding member of the Blyth
Lions Club, the Londesborough
Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #568
and the Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch #420.
Family and friends were received
at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd.,Blyth Visitation Centre, 407 QueenSt., Blyth on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7
- 9 p.m.
The funeral service was held at the
Trinity Anglican Church, Blyth on
Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 at 11 a.m.
Rev. Perry Chuipka officiated.
Memorial services were held on
Friday by the Londesborough
Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #568 at
6:45 p.m. and the Blyth Lions Club
at 9 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
In reflection of Murray’s
commitment to his community it is
requested that memorial donations
be made to the Royal Canadian
Legion, Branch #420 building fund
or the Blyth Memorial Hall Bell
Tower Project.

LINDA MINIELLY
Linda Minielly passed away
peacefully at her residence in
Cranbrook on Wednesday, Aug. 26,
2009. She was born 61 years ago in
York County, a daughter of the late
Joel and Audrey (Owens) Chapelle.Linda was the beloved wife of JimMinielly, who she married in 1968.
She was the loving mother of
Leanne Minielly and Pat Maxwell of
Brussels and Richard Minielly of
Cranbrook. She was the special
grandmother of Davis Minielly of
Cranbrook and Michaela Minielly of
Brussels.
At Linda’s request, cremation has
taken place. There was no funeral
home visitation or service. A private
family burial took place at
Cranbrook Presbyterian Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy,
memorial donations to the Kidney
Foundation or Canadian Diabetes
Association would be appreciated by
the family and can be arranged by
