Foundation, they will be able to
equip new satellite offices in both
Wingham and Exeter.
“I am thrilled that the Ontario
Trillium Foundation has supported
this important project for Huron
County,” said local MPP for Huron-
Bruce, Carol Mitchell. “No one
wishes to be in the difficult
circumstance of being a victim, but it
is comforting to know that Victim
Services of Huron will be there, at
the very start, to provide support tothe citizens of Wingham and Exeter.Thank you to all those who havemade this possible.”The grant from OTF will be usedto purchase computer and office
equipment to help identify staff and
volunteers, at the new offices, and
deliver services throughout Huron
County. This help has ensured the
service could not only expand
services, but enhance them as well.

grant from the Ontario Trillium
Fund” said Shelley Dorey, executive
director, Victim Services of Huron
County. “Being able to open up new
satellite offices will better allow us
to support victims of crime andtragic circumstance throughout theentire county.”Since 2003, Victim Services ofHuron County has worked incooperation with Wingham Police
Services and the Huron County
Ontario Provincial Police to support
and assist with the needs of victims
of crime in Huron County. They
strive to create a community where
the highest quality victim-centered
support and services are available
and accessible. Using trained
volunteers from the community, they
are able to provide short-term
practical and emotional assistance to
victims 24 hours a day, seven days a

OLIVE CUNNINGHAM
Mrs. Olive Kathleen Cunningham
of Listowel, and formerly of Ethel
and Harriston, went to be with her
Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at
Listowel Memorial Hospital.
Olive is survived by Bob
Cunningham, her loving husband of
55 years. She will be remembered by
nine nieces, eight nephews, eight
great-nieces and three great-
nephews. She was the sister-in-law
of Estelle Fritz, Anna Cunningham,
and Ken MacDonald.
Olive was predeceased by her
parents Jim and Mildred (Dennison)
Turner, sister Pearl Martyn and her
husband Norm and by her brother
Howard Turner and his wife Millie.
Olive attended Little Ireland
School in Minto Twp. She was a
member of Harriston United Church
and Sunday school before her
marriage to Bob at her church on
Oct. 24, 1953.
They moved to Ethel where she
belonged to Knox Presbyterian
Church, Ethel and the Eastern Star.
Later, Olive enjoyed opening “The
Curio”, a gift shop in Atwood.
Visitation was held at the Eaton
Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday
from 1 - 5 p.m. where the funeral
service was held on Monday, July 20
at 2 p.m. Rev. John Hogerwaard
officiated.
Interment was in Mount Pleasant
Cemetery, Ethel.
Memorial donations to Listowel
Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to
a charity of one’s choice would be
appreciated.

The Friday night euchre at the
Cranbrook Hall was hosted by
Marion Harrison, Adrian and
Shirley Verstoep. There were 6 1/2
tables at play.
The share-the-wealth winners
