meeting held at the OMFRA office,
Clinton. Jane Muegge was the guest
speaker.
June Robinson, convenor of
education introduced Corrie Bos of
Blyth. She gave a talk on exercise
and why people need to exercise to
stay healthy. Walking is also very
important.
She also demonstrated theexercises that are used everyMonday morning from 9:30 - 10:30a.m. at the Christian ReformedChurch in Blyth. Many took partThursday with the exercises.
Anyone is welcome to attend the
Monday exercises as well.
Gwen Bidwell demonstrated
knitting of the plastic milk bags into
a rug.
Lunch was served by Margaret
Siertsema and Gwen Bidwell
bringing the meeting to a close.

for their accomplishments in late 2008 in the Legion’s Remembrance Day poster, essay and

WATERING RESTRICTION AND
CONSERVATION EFFORTS
To ensure that the municipality has a sufficient supply of water in case
of an emergency and to promote water conservation, the following
water policy will take effect JULY 1, 2009.
Residents with an even house number will be permitted to water on
even days. Residents with an odd house number will be permitted to
water on odd days.
Watering of gardens, flowerbeds and lawns shall only be permitted
during the evening between the hours of 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This watering policy shall remain in effect until September 30, 2009.
The Township of North Huron has purchased 150 rain barrels which
will be available at our cost of $50. to the residents of North Huron.
They are available at Blyth Building Supplies or by contacting Don

Seniors Games District 29.
The games were at Goderich at
the McKay Centre June 17, with 20
tables in play.
