ilensall Brownie Martians seek entry into Guideland

The Brownie Fly-up and. Guide
Enrollment took place April 25 in
the liensall United Church when
two Brownie Martians dressed in
Saturday visitors with Mrs.
Laura Saundercock were Mrs.
Dora Kenny of London, Mrs. Pere
McBride and Mrs, Violet Bean of
Carlow,
Londesboro Women's Institute
will meet on May 10 when Mrs,
Brown of Clinton will
demonstrate making pottery. Roll
call will be answered by showing a
craft or hobby you did during the
past winter.
The 4H girls and their mothers
are invited to the meeting,
Mrs. Alma Tyndall moved to
her new home in Clinton last
week. We are sorry to lose Alma,
but wish her happiness in her new
borne,
Rev.. McDonald attended a
course on Family counselling in a
continuing education course
series in Stratford this past week.

in a traditional ceremony, Linda

Shelley Wareing. Interest badges
were presented by Captain Linda
Fuss to Tracey Turner for
Collectors, and Joanne Luxton for
Seamstress, Home Nurse,
Collectors and Be Prepared
Emblem. Hostess badges were
presented to Brenda Pepper and
Margaret Coupler,
The Guides entertained the
many mothers present with
liumourous skits showing aspects
of camping and first aid
procedure, A gift to Captain was
presented by Joanne Luxton in
appreciation for her services to
Guides for the past Year.
Campfire and songs were led by
'Guides Tracey Turner and
Brenda Pepper. Lunch was
Served by Guides earning their
Hostess badge.
Mrs. Ron Mock, president of
the local Association, announced
the appointment of Mrs, Doug
Mann as Camp Representative.
The cookie sale will be on May 6,
with everyone to meet at the town
hall at 10 a.m. in full uniform.

80th birthday. Mew friends were
