Camping and Sport Show drew biggest crowd ever The fourth annual Camping and Sport Show drew bigger crowds last weekend than last year's edition, More than 1,000 people visited the show despite cool wet weather. They saw the largest display of camping equipment under one roof in the area including camping trailers, tent trailers and truck campers. Those in attendance came from all over western Ontario. A draw for a tent trailer was won by Ken Scott of Brucefield. Door prizes• were donated by the exhibitors and won by: camper's axe, Gary McKellar, Clinton; four cans of Danish bacon, Cliff Utter, Bayfield: sleeping bag, Tony Stryker, RR 1, Clinton; camper's tablecloth, Barry Hutchinson, Goderich; cat' polish, Shelley Long, Brussels; pie iron, Pete Swaim, Brucefield; double hotdog iron, Debbie' Wilkins, Lucknow; canned chicken, Willian Stinnson, Hensall; camper heater, Willian Barlow, Goderich; camping light, Francis Radford, Niagara Falls: flashlight, William Robert Scott. Seaforth; two cans of chicken, Mrs. Eric Switzer. Clinton: flashlight, Mary Holland, Blyth: camping light, Grant Morgan, Clinton; flashlight, Ron C rich , RR 1, Clinton. even a mini bike seems a little big for John Lowe just yet. With a little help teem his mother, Mrs, Grace Lowe ofBrussels, he found the padded seat of the bike on display at the Boen Shop exhibit a comfortable place to rest. The Clinton Legion pipe band was a popular part of the Camping and Sport show on Sunday afternoon. three young chlidren here watch carefully as drummer John Wise twirls the drumsticks.
