Children are fascinating
creatures. They play with
matches and start fires. They pull
scalding liquids over on
themselves and chew on
electrical cords. They choke on
food such as popcorn and peanuts.
They are fascinated by medicine,
bottles and sharp scissors. They
can drown in a few inches of
water.
You know all these things-but
does your baby-sitter? Is she
responsible enough to cope with
the unexpected?
The Ontario Safety League has
a course that would make sure she
is. The .course is an ideal
community project, designed to
prevent accidents to children
under the care of baby-sitters,
improve child care and
emphasize responsible attitudes
necessary to care for your child.
What do you ask of your baby-
sitter? Ask that she take the Baby-
Sitter's Training Course.
For groups or organizations
wishing information on how to
establish a course in your area,
write the Ontario Safety League,
409 King Street West, Toronto 28,
Ontario.
