Guess who's dome the cishes ?
For years, doing the dishes has been one
of life's necessary evils.
But now, because of automatic electric
dishwashers, more and more people are
finding out it's an unnecessary evil.
Consider some of the things an automatic
electric dishwasher can save wives from.
ThingS like: the dreary routine of washing
and drying pots and dishes day after
day; the worry of dishpan hands, the
after-party aftermath; and the hours spent
doing dishes that could be spent in a •
come with the joys of Christmas. So what • T e wavers hundred happier ways.
Consider this, too. A lot of dirty dishes
could make a more timely gift than an
automatic electric dishwasher?

Jesus, but it is .not a line given ,tc.).
Praise- Pierre Trudeau's son.
Yours sincerely,
Betty-Ann Postrna
Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter
because of that poem about
Pierre's and Margaret's baby,
which copies a hymn that refers
to Jesus, which is not right.
You cannot compare a baby
infant of Jesus, because Jesus is
Holy. I hope you and your staff
will think about all these
complaints before putting
another one like this in the news
paper.

Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter to you
because one part in the paper
does not suit my mind. It is the
poem that was written copied a
hymn to praise Jesus Christ
instead of a wee little kid. Also
it made Trudeau's son seem to
be full of glory just as much as
God's own son, Also that part:
A son is born for future reign is
wrong, because, no-one can say
that until it really happens.
Truly,
Miss Wendy Greidanus
Grade 7
Dear Editor:
That poem you put in the
paper on Dec. 30, is not true.
You have compared Jesus to'
Trudeau's new son. You seem to
say that Trudeau's son is greater
then Jesus. While you have the
wrong opinion about this
because you have gone a little
too far, about this.
The line, "Glory to the new
born King is to praise Jesus.
Jesus also as more power and is
much greater than Trudeus little
baby. Next rime think twice
before you print it,
Your truly,
Helen to Brinke

Dear Editor:
That article you put in the
paper last week was not very
good, because you are
comparing Trudeau's son with
"Jesus Christ our Lord". Just
bebause Trudeau's son is born on
Chrldthas' does not mean he's as
grerag '
Jesus rules the whole univerise
and Trudeau's son rules nothing.
Maybe later he might be ruler
over Canada, but that's nothing
compared to Jesus reign. Next
time think before you publish.
Yours truly

Bob Ryerse, Well I like to plaice
a few comments .0(44 it.
Well first of .all I think that
you can not compare a baby, to
Jesus Christ our Saviour. "He
writes that Trudeau's Baby is
higher than Jesus Christ, And he
is not our New Rom king but he
is just an ordaindary baby that
belongs to Prime Minister
Trudeau, and not our King.
Think about it, By!
Yours truly

Dear Editor:
The article that you put in the
Clinton News Record about
Trudeau's son, makes it look like
he is greater than God,
In the bible it says: For God
so loved the world He gave His
only , begotten Son that
whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish but have an
everlasting life. (John 3:16)
God is the one who we should
praise and glorify. He is the one
who rules the earth and has
control over everything.
Sincerely yours
John Haak
Dear Editor:
The poem that you wrote in
the paper last week was not a
very good one. You seem to
think that Trudeau's son is really
great, but I'll tell you something.
He isn't!
Maybe everbody else thinks
he is, just because he is
Trudeau's little kid. Well, you
needn't to refer the little kid to
Jesus, because he is far from It,
and he will never reach. Nobody
ever will,
Yours truly
Arlene Vanderwal
Dear Editor
I am writting this letter to
you because there is something
in the paper that isn't right. Just
because Margaret and Pierre got
a son on Christmas doesn't mean
that you have to put an article in
thepaper like it is for Jesus
because He is not as Holy as
Jesus. You should give Glory to
God and not to Margaret and
Pierre.
Gieny Reinink
Grade 6
Dear Editor:
The article that you wrote in
the Clinton News record about
Justin Pierre Trudeau is what
I'm writing this letter about. The
last couple sentences in the first
verse glory to our newborn king,
Peace on earth and Stanfeild
riled looks as if you referring
Justin Trudeau as Jesus Christ.
Peace on earth can not come
because he was born on the same
day Jesus was.
Yours Truly,
Jake Benjamins
Dear Editor:
I am writing a letter to you
because I do not like the poem
you put in the, "Clinton News
Record" about Pierre Trudeau's
son. I do not like the line,
"Glory to our new born king."
Jesus Christ is our new born
King, not Pibrre Trudeau's son. I
do not also like the line, "A son
is born for future reign." Jesus is
our future. He reigns over us.
And also the line, "Peace on -
earth and Stanfield riled." Just
because Pierre was given a son
on Christmas day, doesn't mean
anything.
On the same very day Jesus
Christ was born. That is when
there is peace on earth. Why
should we join the truimph of
Trudeau which says, "Join the
truimph of Trudeau?"
We join the truimph that
Jesus Christ is born to save the
world. Please think before you
ever put .such things in the
paper. It hurts me very much
when I read such poems. Please
try to understnad that. I am
trying to make some paints
clear. That is All I have to say,
Yours sincerely,
Wilma Lee Greidanis
Dear Editor:
This class (grade six and seven
students of Clinton and District
Christian School) have discussed
the poem about Trudeau's baby,
Justin Piere, and felt we should
do something about it and so we
decided to write to you and
your co-workers.
We felt you had no right to
compare Justin Pierre to Jesus
Christ and to say he is a King is
very disgusting — after all he ist
only .a Liberal's son.
You seem to copy the Bible
when you said, "Glory to the
New Born King, Peace on Earth
and ,,," We do not want to
sound rude but we felt that it is
our duty, You seem to have read
part of the Bible so may be you
have read, "You shall not make
any images or serve them or bow
down to them accecpt the Lord
your God".
Yet if you have read it you
don't seem to pay much
attention to it because to are
almost worshipping Justin Pierre
and also Pierre's son may be a
Christmas gift but he isn't a true
Christmas gift because the only
true Christmas gift is Jesus
Christ.
Yours sincerely
Grena Datema
P.S. I hope I wasn't to rude but I
only wrote what I thought was
right.
The Editor,
Many members of the Clinton
Christian Reformed Church
voiced their disapproval about
the poem, "Unto him a son is
given". It was in very poor taste.
At a time when Christmas
becomes more and more
commercialized by our reading
material, it was sad to see it
topped off with a poem where
the Prime Minister's son is
substituted for the Saviour of
this World.
