who arranged our surprise 65th
anniversary party at the St. Ambrose
Church hall Saturday, June 5. We

treated to a supper at St. Agatha with
our children and their spouses. We
also spent an enjoyable afternoon
before and after at our son’s home,

SAUVE-SCHADE. What a grand
90th birthday celebration. Thank
you everyone for all the flowers,
cards and gifts. On the 25th at the
house there were 40-plus neighbours
and friends who enjoyed cake, ice
cream, punch, tea, coffee and
memories. Then, Saturday night at
the Brussels Legion there were 80-
plus relatives, friends from Antique
Car Club, friends from Neil’s
R.O.M.E.O. Club, more flowers,
more tributes and an excellent meal
by the Legion Ladies. There were
lots of memories and chuckles.
There were visits with my children,
grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
stepchildren, friends and extended
family from Sudbury, Guelph and
Alberta. Thanks to Tammy, Claudia
and Emily for their work and
contributions. Thanks to Don and
Ken for the fireworks display, and
Randy for the wine. Thank you to
Sandra, Beth, and Neil for putting
the bash together and Dale for
making the letter openers. Thank
you to Glen for the “dance”. You are
all the best. How blessed I am. God
has been wonderful to me. Thank
you to all who took part. May you all
reach 90 plus as I have, with good
health, good family and good love. –
