And the little children Snail
lead Mena,
That's What they Say and the
older I get, the more I realize it.
Every once in a while MY kids
will say something that really
gets to me and then I know that
I'm learning a tremendous lesson
from them.
Those of you who have yoting
children will know just what I
mean.
This week I would like to
share with you some thoughts
written by a teenaged girl named
Linda Ann Lawson. I can't tell
you where Linda Ann lives. I
don't know her personally but I
do dig what she wrote, and I
can't think of a better way in
which to start the new year.
She was penning her ideas
about God. You may agree or
disagree but you will not be
unimpressed.
"God is the spirit of a young
girl who walks with pureness of
heart, down the aisle • of a
church. She is happy because she
has found her one and only.
Even though she does not realize
it, God is all around her. He is
flowing gracefully among the
billowing folds of her gown and
clenched between her hands in
the small bouquet of flowers.
"His image is mirrored in the
'tiny diamond ring that is placed
on her finger and reflections of
His love are captured in the eyes
of the groom. He is the kiss that
unites them for the first time as
man and wife.
"God is the love that they will

what ^God is unless, he takes a
good look at hirriSelf. God is,
inside his heart, Every one of us,
whether we deny Him or not,
are a part of i-rim.
"No, lie is not dead! For if
He were we would surely die
too. When man completely stops
believing in God, the end of the
world will come.
"God is a proteetor that keeps
man from blowing himself off
the face of the earth. God guards
him against some of the greatest
temptations.
"God is everywhere, in every
corner of the world. He can, be a
tiny bird who falls from its nest
and at the same time, He can be
the spirit of a young man who
climbs to the summit 'of a
mountain:
"God' is a spirit, infinite and
eternal yet man can never begin
to explain exactly what God is."
Now I ask you, readers, Can
youth be all bad when some
have clear, pure thoughts like
these to share with the world.

,Letter to
To the editor:
I am a citizen of Clinton and I
would like to see something
done about the snowmobiles in
this town.
The other night it was 11:30
when six of them went down;the
street. Then on Sunday three
went right down the sidewalk. If
they are allowed to run at Will
there will be an elderly person or
a child run down and badly hurt.
I know in other towns there is
a by-law that they can't drive
them on the streets. They have
to take them oitit in the country.
Yours truly,
Mac Clarke.
