Fry in charge, A solo was sung by Mrs. EmmerSen Rodgers. A duet was sung by Misses Nancy Anderson and Betty Moss. There were several anthems sung by the members of the junior and senior choirs, WED 56 YEARS Mr. and Mrs. Maitland Allen were honored on the occasion of their 56th wedding anniversary at the home of their nephew, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Allen, Picton East, last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Allen were married on Christmas Day 56 years ago, • After a family dinner, Mr. Allen entertained by showing pictures, Other guests were Mr. Allen's brothers; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Allen of Benmiller and Mr, and Mrs. Harold Allin of Goderich. Plaetzer, Marie Empey, Lorraine Chamney, Doris Naylor, Lynn Turner and Sherry Plaetzer. The offering, received by Jayne Arthur, Barbara Empey, Faye Seers and Cathy MCClinchey, was dedicated by Shelley Grange. Pastor A. Fry closed the service with the benediction. CHRISTMAS CONCERT . The annual Sunday School Christmas concert was held in Knox United Church last Saturday evenings Pastor A, Fry was the chairman and welcomed all to the program which began with the nursery class of Mrs. Leonard Archambault singing and staging a manger scene, The primary class under Mrs. Jack Armstrong and Miss Jennifer Grange, presented a skit and a short address was given by the Sunday School superintendent, Harold Webster. Mr. Fry gave a reading. The Junior girls and the Junior boys' classes each put on skits. Oliver Anderson played a violin solo accompanied by his daughter, Nancy. Mrs. Arnold Cook gave a reading. The Mrs. Elmer Trommer and daughter Miss Connie Trommer visited laSt Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H., Odbert and Lillian at Stratford. Mrs. Gordon Taylor spent the Christmas holiday with her daughter, Mrs. Amulet Rathwell, Michael and Janice at Chatham, Mark. Arthur accompanied Bob Weir and John MacKay of London to Sault Ste. Marie to spend the Christmas vacation with John MacKay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan MacKay, and. Miss Barbara MacKay. Mr. and Mrs, Elmer Keller of Dublin spent Christmas Day with their daughter, Mrs. Harry Arthur, Greg and Miss Judy Arthur of Owen Sound. Congratulations to Mr. J. J.
