sung by Mrs. EmmerSen
Rodgers. A duet was sung by
Misses Nancy Anderson and
Betty Moss. There were several
anthems sung by the members of
the junior and senior choirs,

Mr. and Mrs. Maitland Allen
were honored on the occasion of
their 56th wedding anniversary
at the home of their nephew,
Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Allen, Picton
East, last Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen were
married on Christmas Day 56

After a family dinner, Mr.
Allen entertained by showing
pictures, Other guests were Mr.
Allen's brothers; Mr. and Mrs.

Christmas concert was held in
Knox United Church last
Saturday evenings
Pastor A, Fry was the
chairman and welcomed all to
the program which began with
the nursery class of Mrs.
Leonard Archambault singing
and staging a manger scene,
The primary class under Mrs.
Jack Armstrong and Miss
Jennifer Grange, presented a skit
and a short address was given by
the Sunday School
superintendent, Harold Webster.
Mr. Fry gave a reading. The
Junior girls and the Junior boys'
classes each put on skits.
Oliver Anderson played a
violin solo accompanied by his
daughter, Nancy. Mrs. Arnold
Cook gave a reading. The
Mrs. Elmer Trommer and
daughter Miss Connie Trommer
visited laSt Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. H., Odbert and Lillian at
Stratford.
Mrs. Gordon Taylor spent the
Christmas holiday with her
daughter, Mrs. Amulet Rathwell,
