The award was based on sound financing, efficient management, competitive spirit and community leadership, and provision of modern facilities to serve (he needs and demands of the people in the dealer’s community. The award, consist ing of a plaque, a lapel pin. and banners for showroom and shop, is based on four main re quirements. Requirements were symbolized by lhe letters F, M, S. P. The “I'"’ stands for finances which are sound, fully adequate to do a complete, continuous job of selling cars, trucks, parts and service. The **M” stands for management of an efficient, smooth running organization of well trained, top calibre men in all departments, men with .1 definite and clear objective and a constant incentive for reaching that objective. “S" stands for spirit of competition and community leadership. The final letter *'F” stands for facilities that arc modern and capable of serving the needs and demands of the p< oph in lhe dealer's com munity. (adv’t) Elimvihe Scene Of Hunter Picnic On Sunday. July IS, the Elim- ville Hall provided the setting for the Hunter reunion. This gathering, the first held in many years, was attended by over 60 representatives from Exeter, Hen sail, Lucan, Centralia, London, Saskatoon and other centres. Following supper Mr. Ray Lara mie, master of ceremonies, pre sided. for the business meeting. Plans were made to make this reunion an annual event. The following committees were ap pointed: president, Ray Laramie, Centralia; secretary, Miss Eliza beth Hunter, Exeter; lunch com mittee, Mrs. Flossie Dickens, of Exeter; Miss Gerta Hunter, Lon don, and Harold Hunter, Exeter. Miss Mary Dickey spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Drew at Centralia airport. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Beckett and children were at Ipperwash on Sunday and also visited with Mr. and Mrs, Gerald Tyler at Dashwood. Jimmy Gartenburg is visiting this week with Judy Blommaert near Kirkton. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Chesney have returned to their home after a pleasant trip to the west.
