Local Skating
In five short inonths members
of the Exeter Figure Skating
Club have shown that they were
not fooling when they first in
dicated their interest in skating.
We saw that for ourselves Satur
day night at their first carnival.
And while the outside talent in
the show was entertainment at
its best, we were most impressed
by the efforts of our local young
sters.
To get the club started on its
feet, two organizations took over
responsibilities, Kinetf.es and the
local Recreational Council. By
next season the club should be
feady to be on its own and self-
supporting, but it will
of help from parents
interested persons to
making it successful.
