Vehicle Hits Pole,
Cuts Electricity
A section of Hensall was with
out electricity Wednesday when a
car knocked over a transformer
and three other poles.
The vehicle clipped the main
pole about 1 p.m. The others fell
under its weight. The car skidded
across Richmond street, clipped a
stop sign and stopped on the
other side.
Charged with being intoxicated
in charge of a vehicle was Donald
McKinnon, Hensall. He was taken
to Goderich.
Constables Lee Oesch and E.
R. Davis investigated.
