PATON Bus Tour To U.S. Mr. Ward Hodgins, a member of the Middlesex Holstein Breed­ ers’ Association, was one of the group of 37 who enjoyed the two-day bus tour last Wednesday and Thursday to the U.S. Wednesday morning the group left London and by way of Sar­ nia and Port Huron arrived at For Mar Farm, owned by E. K. Merkley, of Flint, Mich., then to Milson’s Dairy Farm, Williams­ ton, Mich., owners Herb A. and Clarence Miller. Following dinner in Williams­ ton, they visited C. B. Smith Sales and Michigan State College where Dr. C. F. Huffman and Dr. N. P. Ralston, M.S.C., are associated, making Hotel Olds, Lansing, Michigan, for night. On Thursday arrived at Green Meadow Farms, Elsie. The entire herd of over 200 head, excepting three, are from Canada or des­ cendents from Canada. In the afternoon, they called at Jack Budd Farm, Belleville, Michigan, then to Greenfield village, re­ turning home via Detroit and Windsor. Mr. Roy Jewell of CFPL radio station was one of the group. F, Wagland; president, Don Bant­ ing; secretary, F. W. Hovey. Mr. Peter McIntyre, Parkhill, brought greetings from the Deanery of West Middlesex. Installation of officers will be in Lucan on the third Friday of June. Mrs. Fred Simpson has been ill, but is Improving. Mrs. Ed Flynn, president of the Woman’s Auxiliary of St. James' Church, attended the West Middlesex Deanery meeting at Glencoe on Tuesday. Delegates led by the Hackett Lodge Band marched to the cenotaph where wreaths were placed by the Grand Master of the G.B. Chapter and the Grand Lodge. The Rev. David Rowland conducted a brief memorial serv­ ice. In the evening Mr. Shannon was guest speaker at the Corona­ tion convention dinner, held at the Masonic Hall for over 300 delegates.
