Motorists! They say a picture
is worth a thousand words - and
maybe, with symbolized traffic
signs being used in Ontario,
more drivers will get the
messages highway signs convey.
But - whether it says it in
words, or with a picture, a
highway sign should never be
ignored. Traffic signs warn of
steep hills, hidden intersections,
sharp curves, school areas, road
characteristics - in fact, just
about everything a driver needs
to know about the route he's
travelling, So - watch for and be
guided by highway signs - and
do your travelling safetly.
