dainty lace, jacket with long
sleeves ending in a point over

to the bridal gown, with which
was' worn an imported embroid
ered tulle veil and a pearl and
rhinestone tierra. Her .flowers
were red sweetheart roses.
Miss Glenys Reid of. Weston,
was bridesmaid and wore a bal
lerina length gown of powder
blue nylon het over satin, fash
ioned’ with a strapless bodice
trimmed with rhinestones. Her
ensemble was complete with mat
ching jacket, mittens and head
dress .and she carried a. bouquet
of buff roses, . ‘
. Mr. Donald Hackett was his.
brother’s groorhsman.
A1 reception followed in the
Lucknow United. Church/Fellow
ship Room with the bride’s moth
er receiving’in a brown beaded
suit with corsage of yellow tea
roses. She was assisted by the
groom’s mother who wore , a blue
suit and corsage of pink carn
ations. Guests were present from
London, Palmerston, Weston, Kit
chener and Wingham.
For a wedding trip to northern
points, __the_.bride donned a pow
der blue beaded suit with navy
and white accessories and a cor
sage of pink roses.
On their return Mr. and Mrs.
Hackett will- reside in Lucknow.

JOHN MOWBRAY
John Mowbray^ 89, a resident
of the Whitechurch district for
half a century, died in Wingham
Hospital. The funeral service was
conducted by Rev. R. D. A. Cur
rie of Whitechurch with inter
ment in Wingham Cemetery.

community. It showed what the
four H’s stand for. They are
