He was born in McGilliv ray Township and attended Mara’s School, Lucan School and the London Normal School. Later he went to De troit and married Lillian Hock, of Bay City. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Aud rey; two sons, Maurice, of Dal las, Texas, and Warren, Detroit, four sisters, Mrs. John Prout, Exeter, Mrs. Albert (Delora) and Mrs. Harry Whitworth of London, Another' sister, James Morgan, died nine- years ago. Shower Last Week Complimenting Miss Elaine Cooper, of Kippen, popular bride* of Saturday last, some sixty-five* neighbours and friends met at her home on Thursday last and presented her with a miscellan eous shower, the home attrac tively decorated for the occa sion. Contests were enjoyed and the guest of honor was present ed with many beautiful gifts; from a wagon decorated with colour schemes of pink and white and the honours going to Patsy and David Cooper. Miss Wilma Kyle read the address. Luncheon was served, after which the trousseau was dis played by Mrs. Don Cooper and Mrs. Ray Cooper. The affair was much enjoyed. SANTA CLAUS MOUSSE oz. pkg. of frozen straw berries (syrup pack) tablespoons sugar or white corn syrup teaspoons gelatine tablespoons cold water cup whipping cream cup sugar teaspoon vanilla Thaw strawberries, press through a sieve (reserving a few whole ones for garnishing). Add remaining juice from berries to make up 1% cups. Add sugar or corn syrup. Soak 2 teaspoons of gelatine in 2 tablespoons cold watei’ and dissolve over hot wa ter. Add to the berry mixture, pour into refrigerator tray and partially freeze. Soak the remaining 1 teaspoon of gelatine in the remaining 2 tablespoons of cold watei’ and dissolve over hot water. Whip cream, add gelatine, sugai’ and vanilla and mix well. Spread as a topping over berry mixture in refrigerator tray. Return to re frigerator and continue freezing until firm about 1 to 2 hours. Garnish with a few whole ries. Yield: 6 servings.
