MRS. THOMAS DEEVES
Mrs. `MMus W. Deeves, 60,
of Clinton, died last. Saturday at
Clinton Puhlic Hospital after
several years' illness.
She was born in Clinton
March 17, 1909, the former
Annie Jeannette, a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Ct,:,:orge
Taylor,
A past mistress of the LO)3A
in Clinton, she also served as an
acting president of the
Conservative party association
here and was a member of St,
Paul's Anglican Church. She was
married in July 1940,
Besides her husband, survivors
include two daughters, Sally
Evean l.,eias of London,
England and Mrs. Donald (Betty
Jo) Cudinore of Clinton; two
brothers, Stewart and Barrett of
Clinton; three sisters, Mrs.
Charles (Leona) Lockhart, Mrs.
Mervin (Kathleen) Hanley and
Mrs, Harold (Doris) McPherson,
all of Clinton, and one
grandchild.
The funeral was held Tuesday
at Beattie Funeral Home with
the Rev. J. S. Sharpies of St,
Paul's Church officiating. Burial
was in Clinton Cemetery.

died Dee. 2 in Clinton. He was
72 years old and lived in Clinton

A native of Warkworth, Mr.
German was fibril Aug. 24,
1897, a son of the late William
and Jessie German, and was
married on Sept. 1, 1934 to the
former Grace Coulter who
survives him.
Mr, German was a member of
the United Church and belonged
to the Masonic
Oddfellows and Clinton Turf
Club.
Besides his wife, he is Survived,.
by a son, William, and a
grandson, Corrie, both of
Clinton,
The funeral service was held
at Ball Funeral Home Dec. 4
with the Rev. H. W. Wonfor of
Ontario Street United Church
officiating. Burial was in Clinton
Cemetery.
