the first game. Amherstburg
came up with a run in their half
of the 12th after two lead-off
singles and Mustard's first two

bases.
Brian Edgar was called in to
pitch after Mustard's arm
became sore. Edgar forced his
first batter into a groundout to
Ron Graham, then struck out
the next Amherstburg hitter.

the 8th on runs by Cam and
Laurie Colquhoun and Ed Daer.
After one out in the eighth,
Tillsonburg picked up three
singles, scoring two runs to go

Fleet and rolled out of play,
allowing, Tillsonburg's winning
run. Clinton tried to tie the
score in the ninth after Cam
Colquhoun clouted a 315-foot
homer to narrow the score to
8-7, but a strikeout and two
routine groundouts retired the
Colts.
A protest on Clinton's 7.5
victory in the first game of the
best-of-three series last week left
the outcome unofficial at
presstime.
In Clinton's half of the last
inning, Mustard pounded out a
double, but the next batter
grounded out for the third out.
Mustard retired 18 batters by
strikeout and allowed only 10
hits. Two back-to-back doubles
scored Amherstburg's first run in
the fouth after Clinton scored its
first run.in the prior inning. Ron
Graham, third baseman, crossed
the plate for Clinton's run.

While Mustard was striking
out at least one man an inning,

strikeouts, walking only two and
also was hit for 10 safeties.
After a three-quarter hour
rest, the teams again took to the
field for another fine display of
