Director of the Health Unit, as a

The committee, however, was of
the opinion' that not only will
the services of the MOH be
required, but that every
department head will become
involved in county planning.
Therefore, it is the wish of the
committee that all the
department heads ,will serve in
advisory capacities.

staff dining room at Clinton
Public Hospital, on Monday
marked the 50th wedding
anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
Alfred Buchanan.
Hospital staffers served tea

Mrs. Buchanan has been a
patient at the hospital since last
March when she broke her hip.
The Buchanans farmed in the
Hensall and Kinburn areas in the
past and have lived on James
Street in Clinton for six years.
They are parents of six — five
sons and a daughter — and
grandparents of 18. Their
daughter Joyce is Mrs. Jerry
Cook of Clinton. Two of the
sons, Donald and Fred,-live in
Kinburn. -Gordon and _Kenneth
are in British Columbia; Wilfred
is in Ilderton.
