Currie united in marriage Patricia Lorraine Harris and William Leonard`Noakes in a double ring ceremony amid floral background of candlehre 'and baskets of white mums edged in blue, The bride is the daagliter of Mrs. Percy Harris and the late Mr. Percy Harris of RR 1 Ciemarty, and the grooms parents are Mr. 'and Mrs. Leonard Noakes, Hensall. Mrs, John Turkhpim provided traditional wedding music and accompanied the soloist Gary Scholl of Hensall who sang "The Wedding Prayer" and "0 Perfect Love." Given in marriage by her brother Beverly Harris the bride was lovely in a floor-length wedding gown of Chantilly lace and Ligoda on empire lines. The bodice fashioned lily point sleeves and scalloped neckline. A semi-A-line skirt featuring a front panel of Ligoda swept to a chapel train, a dainty headpiece of rosettes and petals held a four tier veil of French illusion, and she carried a cascade of red sweetheart roses and trailingivy. Bridal attendants matron of honour, Mrs. Susan Riley, of Hensall and bridesmaids Miss Brenda Noakes, Hensall, sister of groom, and Mrs. Gail Moss, RR 1 Auburn, were gowned identically in floor length gowns of periwinkle blue silk crepe ;pomplimented by the deep ,illusion, blue velvet bodice. ,Delicate daisy , motifs of the same velvet accented the Empire waist line, the back was caught by a soft crepe bow. They carried matching, blue velvet muffs with red roses and white :mums, and they wore tier blue short het veils with a velvet bow. Gary Lawrence of Hensall was groomsman, and Leslie Riley of Hensall, and Tom Dalrymple of RR 2 Kippen ushered guests.
